Put on your VR headset and get a 360 view of construction works on the Randalstown - Castledawson Dualling Scheme

Pop on your Virtual Reality headset and take a special 360 tour of construction works on the Randalstown - Castledawson Dualling Scheme as works continue to progress well with 14/21 structures underway, 1 bridge now open and a new park and ride facility due to open soon. 

Take a look around Borrrow Pit K during a planned blast - located behind Moneynick Primary School. 

Step inside Borrow Pit P  - located beside the M22 

Take a look at the works in; Borrow Pit A - located beside the A6 Mainline ( Castledawson ),  Borrow Pit E located in the Deerpark area or Borrow Pit B located beside the A6 mainline between Bellshill Rd - Castledawson

See drainage works underway near the Derrygowan Overbridge.

Slip forming of kerbs and central drainage channels begin to take place between Ballynafey Road and Derrygowan Road

Take a peak at the works stretching from the newly opened Ballynafey overbridge towards Randalstown.

 

With the Permanent closure of the Gallagh Road now in place the Graham Farrans Joint Venture have been making steady progress with earthworks in the area.

See the finishing touches at the new Drumderg Park and Ride Facility as the final pieces of the footbridge are put in place.

Over in Zone One earthworks are making excellent progress  and works have begun on the Deerpark Road overbridge with piling works complete

Works on the new Brough Road Footbridge get underway with the piling works on the North side of the A6 carriageway now complete.

Earthworks between the Hillhead Road and the Brough Road North are now well underway.

The Bellshill area has been transformed in recent months with a fully formed bridge, embankments and the scheme's SUDS ponds (Sustainable Urban Drainage) in place
