Works continue to progress as the A6 Dualling Scheme team continue to concentrate on works between the Creagh Roundabout - Deerpark Road

Deerpark Road - Local Access Change
DEERPARK ROAD - NEW DIVERSION ROUTE FOR LOCAL RESIDENTS
From Monday 07 September 2020 at 7am the Graham Farrans Joint Venture will move the location of the ‘hard closure’ on Deerpark Road, changing the local diversion route for residents living within the closure for approx 10 Weeks
Deerpark Road - New Diversion Route for Local Residents
- Residents in numbers 1 to 88 Deerpark Road will access their properties via Bellaghy
- Residents in numbers 90 to 100 Deerpark Road will access their properties via Creagh Hill
- Residents in numbers 103 to 120 Deerpark Road will access their properties via A6 Mainline
Castledawson Roundabout & Approaches - Lane Closures
CASTLEDAWSON ROUNDABOUT - LANE CLOSURES
The Castledawson Roundabout & Approaches will require lane closures during August 2020 to complete finishes in the centre of the roundabout . This will not be required full-time and will only be installed when required
Deerpark Road - Full Closure for 16 weeks
DEERPARK ROAD - FULL CLOSURE
The Deerpark road closure continues throughout August (approx 16 weeks), to facilitate accommodation and tie-in works for the new Deerpark Road overbridge. Local access for residents and businesses will be maintained.
Please note there will be a hard closure on the Deerpark Road Closure between Bellaghy and Deerpark Road/ A6 Junction, a diversion route is available via Bellaghy Main Street, Old Town Road, Hillhead Road, A6 Mainline
- A new temporary Hillhead Road/ A6 Junction will be in operation, this will be situated to the west of the ‘Old’ Hillhead Road/ A6 Junction
- Please only use the ‘Old’ Hillhead Road/ A6 Junction for access to the Old Thatch Restaurant, Thatch Cars & Commercials and Creagh Hill
Boilas Lane - change to local access
BOILAS LANE - CHANGE OF LOCAL ACCESS
The changes to some access for local residents on the Boilas Lane is now operational, change were made to facilitate the construction of the A6 Dual Carriageway. Local access will be maintained via the Creagh Roundabout leading to the new Creagh overbridge.
